Everten Online is the culmination of a small family business that started in Cairns, Nth Queensland in 1986. Originally started by Rosie Watson and her son Hal Pritchard in Cairns selling knives wholesale to the processing industry the family quickly came to understand what constituted a quality knife. Moving to Sydney in 1993 they opened up a shop at the Sydney Fish Markets called Rosie's of Pyrmont. Still successful today, Rosie's of Pyrmont has a reputation of selling quality kitchenware to the fish processing industry, the restaurant trade, the general public and many tourists from overseas. Rosie's of Pyrmont has now been successful business running for over 15 years. In 2003 Natasha and Hal opened up a second shop, The Waiters Friend in the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country. The Waiters Friend has quickly become a shopping icon in this much loved area and many people travel up from Sydney specially to shop at The Waiters Friend. Everten Online was a natural extension for Natasha and Hal, adding to and complementing our bricks and mortar establishments in Sydney and the Hunter Valley. Our objective is to use the efficiencies of online trading to increase choice, lower prices and provide greater service.
